The famous Palace Theatre London was earlier known as the Royal English Opera House, is a West End theatre. The London Westend theatre is located at Shaftesbury Avenue and Charing Cross Road. The theatre seats have occupancy of 1400 people. In the late 1880s, the theatre was constructed under the direction of Gilbert and Sullivan opera producer Richard D’Oyly Carte.
