Moulin Rouge! premiered on July 10, 2018 The musical premiered on July 10, 2018, at the Emerson Colonial Theatre in Boston. Moulin Rouge! opened on Broadway at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre, with previews starting on June 28, 2019, and officially opening on July 25. The musical officially debuted in the West End on January 20, 2022, with previews starting November 13, 2023.
This mash-up musical is so much more than a jukebox show and takes classic songs from the likes of world-renowned artists: David Bowie, Elton John, The Police, and Christina Aguilera. These popular pop songs are given a musical stamp that only increases their already massive repute! Songs that stand out and were made somewhat more iconic, if possible, by the Moulin Rouge! film are ‘Your Song’, ‘Come What May’, ‘Elephant Love Medley’ and ‘Nature Boy’. It’s quite simply hit after hit, and you can hear them all with Moulin Rouge! tickets.
